This home-made version of tomato ketchup is gluten free and a healthier option than the store brought bottle tomato sauce or ketchup which is laden with sugar, additives and preservatives.

It’s time to switch to this healthy tomato sauce/ketchup option to dip your homemade fries, smear on your burger patty or have with your BBQ sausages. It’s easy and quick to make!

Ingredients

1 Cup Coach T Marinara Sauce (see here for the recipe) or use 1 Cup of a canned tomatoes

1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Tamari Soy Sauce

1 Teaspoon honey (optional)

Pinch of dried chilli flakes or paprika (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions

Mix or blend all ingredients well for a smooth texture, or leave chunky for a more relish style condiment.
